Review: when first admitted the nursing staff treated her great, they were wonderful, caring & professional, but the long term care, total different story, absolutely horrible.didn't bathe her, nor cleaned her teath, she had 6 bed sores & when asked to bathe her, she said i'll tell the day crew😳. she got covid while there, was sent to the hospital, thank the Lord she gained 6 pounds but when returning here, they wanted to just put her in Hospice. her son moved her Friday to Arkansas to a wonderful place, they cleaned her up, however the damage was done. the Lord took her home this mornin at 4:00am.

Review: Gave 2 stars because the staff are caring people that really do care. Asside from that, the place is a dump, the people in charge are obviously in it for the money, and liers. My Mom was sent home with a report that I'm sure everything within wasn't supposed to make it into the paperwork sent home with her. The report says things like morbidly obese, spitting, biting, picking at sores, throwing food, etc......THAT IS NOT MY MOTHER AT ALL! The caregivers were crying when she left. I doubt that the report and the reactions go hand in hand. There are MUCH BETTER AND MUCH CLEANER FACILITIES AVAILABLE! Try Aspen health and rehab!!

Review: My 84 year old diabetic mother was discharged to this facility from the ICU step-down unit of a local hospital. She went to this facility on oxygen. She was disconnected for over 8 hours and no one, including her assigned nurse, realized that she was not on her oxygen. My mom called me at 11 p.m. unable to breathe and with a headache and stated, "I'd rather die than stay here!!!!" After I came back to the facility for the third time in an 8 hour period, the LPN went and got an oxygen machine and tried to connect it, only to find out that it didn't work!!! She never got a tray, was put on the wrong diet, and urinated on herself because no one answered her call light to help her to the bathroom. I went to the desk and asked for the 1-800 number to reach the state and after a 30 minute search, noone was able to find it. This number is supposed to be readily accessible at ALL times. DON was notified and I have not been contacted as of yet. Needless to say, I packed my mother up, put her in my car, and took her home. I'm just getting home from getting her all settled at 3 a.m. This facility should be SHUT DOWN

Review: DO NOT PUT YOR LOVED ONE HERE. Administrator does not allow clinical staff to evaluate, care, make decisions. Administrator has only a basic degree, no clinical training, facility is all about him. Take your loved one elsewhere, the corporation allows administrator to abuse, not report, meet needs, be investigated. supportive staff, outside of nursing, is not educated or available. When you think your person is SUFFERING, they are! Administrator has no idea, who is in building , Administration has a CNA, do all his reporting, collecting data, she has no idea of standards. This allows the administrator to say, “ I was unaware, I will look into”. This facility will exploit your benefit and you will not get therapy. Good luck

Review: Forest Hills staff is amazing, patient, and welcoming. I would say about 90% of them care for the residents and actually interact with them individually. Some even go out of their way or take time out of their busy schedule to stop say hi, and ask them how their day is going. Wendy, the activities director always has something fun planned for them to do and she is always thinking of other things to add to the calendar. Marsha(?), the director over housekeeping, laundry, and cafeteria is amazing as well. She makes sure that everything is cleaned correctly and will also take time to help find your family members missing clothes. The can’s and cam’s are so patient with my mom even when she gives them a hard time and work with her when she is having a bad day. They always let me know what she has been doing, etc.The landscaping around the gazebo and courtyard need some major work but that’s not a thing I would think about when choosing a place. Just an observation. All in all, the residents seem very happy and socialize a lot which is great to see.
