Review: Besides having spacious rooms, great storage and good sized kitchens, the greatest thing about this community is the people -- both staff and residents. This is truly a community not just an apartment complex. I have lived here for over 20 years. My apartment feels like a home and not just a temporary dwelling.

Review: They need to replace the leaky roofs!I lived here from 2021-2024. Overall the community is great and pretty quiet aside from the occasional yippie dogs. I genuinely enjoyed my neighbors. The leasing staff are really friendly and helpful, and the new manager is a lot more friendly than the previous lady. The apartments are spacious and I liked the two bedroom layout. The maintenance is responsive, though our roof leaked 6-7 times onto our dining room table over the span of a few years before they finally fixed the source of the problem (I’m not just talking drip drip drip, but like chunks of the ceiling falling at times from being saturated). I know other tenants who have told me about perpetual water leaks too. Not taking care of the root water leak problems led to some structural issues that required us to move out when they pulled our ceiling down and said they needed to open the roof for further repairs (see photo of our living room for the last month). It also took them like 1.5 years to fix some sketchy stairs. They did let us break our lease which was nice/easy due to the roof, but there was no other compensation given. They wouldn’t even consider waiving a cleaning fee from our deposit for the hassle. I would live here again, but I’m honestly a little disappointed about how things ended and the inflexibility of Leinbach policies. I’m told they are supposed to replace all the roofs, though they’ve been saying that for a while.

Review: We feel right at home. The neighbors we have met have been super friendly, and we're looking forward to meeting more of them over time. Review: 5400 South is a lovely place to spend your retirement years where you are close to shopping and doctor appointments. The apartments are clean, spacious and well maintained. There are activities you can join in the Club House including monthly luncheons and get togethers with friends. The pool is beautiful during the summer months and well taken care of. The grounds are beautiful with manicured trees and lovely flowers throughout the seasons. The surroundings are quiet and a great place to relax and enjoy the scenery. Our managers, Cynthia and Tawnya, are excellent and do an outstanding job making sure we are happy, safe and secure in our apartments. Review: Community is well-kept, staff is friendly, and maintenance is prompt and courteous! The apartments are spacious, clean, and have a lot of storage! My neighbors are quiet but very friendly-I've met more people in a week than I ever did at my previous apartment.
