Review: They are short staff and don't know what they are doing. They discharged my brother that had a wound and did not get him home health. They sent him home and didn't care what happen to him. They said they called APS so they could help him. The administrator Dana Wise said "he is no longer our problem. You his sister you can get him home health". She got loud with me and would not let me talk so I hung up the phone. She was rude and not professional at all. I ask for Corporate number and she said they were not allowed to give that out. I will be calling on you Dana Wise!

Review: If I could give 0 stars I would. The first time visiting our loved one here the staff said “if he’s on the floor in there just leave him” and low and behold he is naked on the floor, what an amazing first impression. The rooms are outdated, dirty and ugly. The staff couldn’t care less about the patients as there’s so many that need tending to while there’s 4-5 people just sitting at the front desk. They sigh when they have to buzz you in and out of the front door like they don’t get paid to do so as well as smoking cigarettes right outside the front door right next to the no smoking signs which I don’t care for as someone allergic. Do not put your loved ones here, we moved ours immediately and that’s the only time we were approached by someone higher up and they had no concern about his well-being only him moving out of the facility. Once moved out we found horrible, untreated bedsores. We moved him and have been so happy since.

Review: I give this rating for multiple reasons; the current staff such as Danna, Angelica and Sara have addressed recent concerns that had about the facility and my brothers personal care. They have been the first to admit that they have some challenges but remain committed to turning it around. Most care facilities have had some issues. I have seen a difference when arriving to the facility; first being greeted with a friendly smile. I think it is important to always give a good first impression for your quests.The customer service, bedside manner and communication definitely needed improving, it has in recent months. I'm more confident now that Emerald Care staff will stay committed to making positive improvements, which in turn makes me feel comfortable about my loved one being there long term. In the end, it should always be about providing excellent patient care and not about anyones personal agenda. I also want to address reviews stating that the facility was dirty, and I disagree. It has always been clean when I have been visiting my brother. Trust me, I'm very picky.Thank you, Team, for choosing to stay committed to providing excellent care!

Review: My wife and I became residents at at Emerald Care a year ago. Jerry was the Administrator and it was a pretty good facility. But then they got rid of Jerry and almost everything changed. Weekends are horrible, the food is terrible and cold. My wife got a scratch on her right leg in January and if they would have treated it properly it would be okay. Now it’s a wound the size of a softball. Call lights are not answered on the second and third shifts. Although it is supposed to be a non smoking facility the residents and staff continue to smoke! Thank God for Letha the Activities Director she is about the only person in management that cares! Just NEVER SEND YOUR LOVED ONE TO EMERALD CARE! By the way if you have someone who can do your laundry have them do it. When we moved we had to leave clothes that we had been waiting on for months. I had three pairs of shorts missing and I told Rosemary the director over laundry and housekeeping about this. I got no results so I told Jay the Administrator that I needed to be reimbursed for my clothes. Well I guess it just hasn’t been enough time. The rooms are dirty. I reported bugs in our room in May and they still have not had an exterminator come.
