Review: From day one of inquiring about The Cottages, to my visit, and then moving in, the experience has been nothing short of incredible. When placing requests for maintenance help, the team has been very friendly, hospitable, and efficient in handling the issues with one call resolution outcome in my cases. The management staff has been welcoming and always willing to assist. I have to give shout out to Kim as she has always exemplified professionalism and care anytime I had a question or concern. Something as small as asking a question on cleaning products used by Housekeeping to clean the bathrooms, Kim took my request, followed up with me, consulted housekeeping, and provided me an answer.I’ve lived at two different Case and Associate properties, and those were great experiences. I am happy to say that my third experience has been incredible. With Kim and the crew in place I have no doubt that it will continue to be that way.

Review: Don't get 1112. They need to nuke the entire building 11 and start over again to get rid of the roaches. 9 months of agony.

Review: I do not recommend to live at this complex. You pay high price in rent and will get your car broken into. It's the second time that this happens in this complex. The complex does not care about its residents and will not do anything prevent more incidents to happen. One thing the complex does care is getting their money in the Benning of every month. But don't worry because your rent will increase just like every year. The only reason the complex will give you for increasing your rent will always be " last year you paid $__, but this year you will pay $__ ", "because of cost of living". I suggest for new residents and old residents to get out of here ASAP. By time it will get worse.

Review: We lived here for 4 years, but are moving out of state. After looking at a bunch of new places, I definitely appreciate tall grass a lot more, and realize how lucky we are to have lived here! We were blessed with a very quiet building and never had any noise issues. Get a 3rd floor if you can! Gates always work 90% of the time, only ever saw 2 roaches which they promptly fixed, the grounds are very well lit, never got any packages stolen, Ive read there are issues w dog poop but they really encourage other tenants to speak up if you see someone not picking up after their dog. Only had maintenance issues twice, which were handled quickly. The train noise is not an issue if you live on far Northside of complex. When we got all that snow and ice, sidewalks were salted and the parking lot was plowed quickly. I just hope the moving out process is as nice and easy as it has been living here. 🙂

Review: We love the actual apartment itself. Lots of the reviews are accurate and after living here 2 years, I have to state these issues followed by praise. 1.) The train and planes are not that bad. It is the cars and drivers in the complex that are horrible. So much for being gated, everyone knows #5000 gets you entrance and people will dang near side swipe you or run you over. That is coming from someone who owns a delivery company. 2.) Maintenance requests can be a little cumbersome. They do get done and done well, but sometimes you have to ask 3+ times. Air filter changed started well, but living on the 3rd floor they get SOOO dirty- so, we just buy our own and replace it. Same with the fridge filter- may have been new when we moved in, but the light was on and I didn’t feel comfortable. 3.) Complaints- no, not mine, but the complaint process is finicky. I think that wording on their document should be changed- unless you know something to be true, you cannot simply jump to conclusion. I was at fault on a situation, so I fixed it. However, just because someone filed a complaint again, doesn’t mean they are right. I personally resolved the situation while I was on the phone with the manager, but still have a letter placed on my door saying, “this is now permanent part of your leasing history,” NO! Call the person or send maintenance to observe… I was mad the first time, but two+ times is a joke. 4.) I agree with the phone situation, they have text options and cal options.. I cannot get though a lot of the times and the texts get ignored while heartedly. There was a truck stolen back here and magnets, clings stolen off our company vehicle. Courtesy patrol is… well, not good. They need cameras, stop signs or some form of more security in the complex. Review over, but I could go on- I would recommend this complex to a friend or family, but there is definitely work that needs done in certain areas.
