Review: My mother has been a resident of Aberdeen Heights since May of 2021. The administrator at the time of move in, Anita, was AMAZING. She was literally like family to us. Sadly she retired in 2023. The one who took her place, Dinah, has been a totally different story. She won’t answer phone calls or emails. The only time I hear from her is when she is trying to raise my mother’s rent every December. I still to this very day have never even met her in person.The nursing director, Schalloca, is the main reason I have kept my mother here. She has taken on numerous duties that aren’t even hers to deal with, and she is always available to me when I need her for anything at all. The rest of the staff is also great.I personally feel as though someone in the role of administrator in an AL community should be responsible, available, compassionate, responsive, and visible to residents’ family members. The only time I ever get a response from Dinah is when I get irritated or threaten to report her to the home office (also whom I cannot get in touch with..I’ve left voicemails and never get a call back).I truly hope something can change with the administration soon so I don’t have to move my mother someplace else. I gave three stars for the facility as a whole. I would rate the nursing staff a 5 as well as the overall community itself. The administrator gets a 1 bringing the overall score to a 3.

Review: Aberdeen Heights is a gold standard of assisted living care in Tulsa. The DON and her direct care staff are always helpful and happy to lend a hand to the residents. The building is beautiful, activities are thoughtful, and the food always smells amazing! I can’t say enough good things about this building and its staff!

Review: My grandmother was a resident at Aberdeen Heights for the past 15 months. She passed away last week. We, as a family, have had serious concerns we have tried to address. Neither the corporate office, nor Dinah, the executive director, have attempted to return our calls. Seems very shady.Also, no one from the administration has reached out to extend their condolences for my grandmother’s death. This is taken as inconsiderate and offensive. To me, this does not coincide with their philosophy of treating residents like family. I would not be able to recommend this facility based on their lack of follow up to address our concerns and their lack of sympathy for a longtime resident and family.

Review: Aberdeen Heights is an amazing place, my grandmother loves it there. The nurse is very friendly and helped us in so many ways with her Long Term Care paperwork that we never would have been able to figure out without her. The staff is very welcoming and the atmosphere is GREAT! I highly, highly recommend Aberdeen Heights as a place to call home for your loved ones.

Review: Aberdeen Heights is one of the best AL’s we have toured in Tulsa they were all very welcoming and friendly. From the front desk to the nursing department as well as the ED. The nurse was very informing and patient as we had a lot of questions and she had a lot of great information for our family.
